Tiffany Seal
Ms. Tiffany is a single mother of two children. Her teaching experience includes Special Education in alternative schools, self-contained general education settings, and center-based schools. She has a BA in English and an MA in Special Education from West Virginia University. Tiffany also studied at George Mason University in the PhD in Education program focusing on voice, the self, and development. During her study she engaged in coursework to further her interests in the departments of Education Policy, Education Leadership, Public Policy and Conflict Resolution. Recently she completed a MS in Government Analytics from Johns Hopkins University observing political behavior, policy analysis, and advanced statistics. Her focus while in her MS program at Hopkins was Africa and Education.
Tiffany’s past volunteer work includes her serving as a Child Advocate, Restorative Justice Facilitator, and Coordinator for Young Professionals United Nations conference. She served as a peer reviewer on International Journal of Education Policy and Leadership during her time at George Mason. Tiffany has co-presented at American Association of Adult and Continuing Education on Ethics and Ethicality and recently co-published a research note looking at the effectiveness of counterterrorism and countering violent extremism in the journal Perspectives on Terrorism.
Ms. Tiffany joined APTS's Manassas campus in February of 2020 as an ES, and stepped into the role of Regional Education Director in November 2020.
