APTS is a year-round special education day school offering a highly structured classroom setting for students whose disabilities include Autism and other Developmental Disabilities, not limited to Emotional and or Learning Disabilities. Our programs specialize in an intensive delivery of services to students who engage in self-injurious behaviors (SIBs) as well as aggressive behaviors.

APTS Inclement Weather Instruction Policy

For inclement weather days, APTS campus buildings will follow their corresponding school divisions.

Alternative Paths Training School continues to strive to provide the optimal services for our students. Over the past few school years, we have used virtual instruction and support to maintain consistency and support for our families and communities during inclement weather/snow days.

However, many of the districts that support our programs have asked that we honor their county policies regarding inclement weather and adhere to the decision allowing their students the same opportunities as their base school peers. Based on their decisions, Alternative Paths will no longer be able to provide virtual instruction on inclement weather days.
