COVID-19 Update
Dear families and APTS stakeholders,
Thank you for your continued support as we navigate the pandemic and what it means for our students, staff, and community.
We are currently collaborating with regional health departments to finalize the COVID-19 safety plans required for reopening. Seeing as we have multiple school locations across several jurisdictions, we are working to ensure we meet the varied needs and response requirements of each one.
We have received very positive feedback thus far and are confident that our plans will be approved by the state of Virginia. These are the final steps required prior to return to the physical building.
Soon, we will review our program offerings with local county school districts. In order to meet the needs of all of the APTS students, families and staff, we are working to provide a variety of instructional options. The options will include 100% virtual instruction, as well as some form of in-person instruction. These options will be based on the current regulations and discussed with the student’s team to determine the most appropriate method of instruction.
