Regional Behavior Director, Alexandria
Kristie Adams is the Regional Behavior Director at Alternative Paths Training School’s Alexandria Campus. During her nine years at APTS, she has served in various capacities including a Program Facilitator, Behavior Specialist, and Behavioral Services Supervisor.
She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned dual bachelor’s degrees in English and Psychology while in attendance. She also earned a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University located in Arlington, Virginia. Kristie then furthered her education through the Florida Institute of Technology and earned her certification in Applied Behavior Analysis and is licensed to practice in the state of Virginia as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Her love, respect and adoration for her students and team inspire her to find more ways to advocate for her students and their families while utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed practices to create stronger communities that foster inclusion and respect.
