Dominion Energy Donates Compost to APTS!

A few weeks ago, Dominion Energy donated 200 pounds of compost to APTS for use in our campus gardens!

The donation came about as a result of their Corporate Compost Program, where Dominion employees bring in food scraps to be made into compost. This is part of their environmental stewardship initiative to reduce waste production, and recycle as much as possible.

Ms. Peggy of Dominion joined us at an APTS campus where she was able to chat with a student, and gather the very last of this year’s harvest.

APTS greatly appreciates the compost donation from Dominion, and looks forward to many fruitful harvests to come!
