VDOE Parent Survey

The Virginia Department of Education  (VDOE) is developing procedures to measure the academic and functional progress of students enrolled in private schools for students with disabilities that are licensed by the VDOE. As part of this process, the VDOE is soliciting input from parents or guardians on how they perceive their child is progressing since being enrolled in a private school for students with disabilities licensed by the VDOE.

An on-line survey has been created to collect data for its Indicator 8 – Parent Engagement Survey used to measure parent response to the question: “My child’s school helped me become involved to improve services and results for my child with a disability.”

The online surveys can be found below and the link will remain open through September 15, 2021.
