2020 has been a really difficult year. Acts of kindness can help you feel better. Did you know that acts of kindness or “doing for others” actually stimulates serotonin and oxytocin production? These are hormones associated with satisfaction, well-being, and love. There is also an abundance of research that high serotonin and oxytocin levels contribute to lower pain rates, lower depression rates, lower blood pressure and increased longevity. In short, doing for others not only feels good but there are verified health benefits. Spread kindness!
