Bobbi McBride
With over 40 years of dedicated experience in education administration and special education, Bobbi McBride is a seasoned professional committed to supporting students with challenging behaviors. Bobbi earned a Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and has since built a distinguished career in both the Approved Private School Sector and various school districts.
Bobbi’s expertise spans a broad spectrum of educational services, including her role as a Special Education Coordinator, where she managed Special Education, Gifted, Homelessness, English as a Second Language programs, and the day treatment program at the Community Guidance Center. Her career also includes a decade-long tenure with the Pennsylvania Department of Education as a Special Education Monitor, where she contributed to the development and oversight of educational standards and practices.
Outside of her professional life, Bobbi finds joy in singing with her church choir and enjoys a range of outdoor activities such as biking, kayaking, and boating. An avid reader, she embraces both her personal and professional passions with enthusiasm and dedication.
Bobbi is thrilled to be the Regional Education Director at Alternative Paths Training School, Alexandria Campus as it combines both a strong education and behavioral program to meet the students needs. She looks forward to continuing the growth of vocational opportunities and focusing on further development of literacy and communication skills for our students.
